Encryption is a method to change the numbers and characters of the data sent in a network. Thus, the data traveling in the network is secure and encrypted. That is why it is essential to encrypt the user's data when they checkout( BBC Bitesize, 2021).

2-What online security features will you include on your website?

To increase the website's reliability, my website will only include secure payment methods. One of the methods included is PayPal. Another thing is SSL certificate (secure sockets layer) to assure the consumer that the website is secure. Finally, McAfee software. As it would work in securing the website furthermore. to gain consumer trust.

3-How would you ensure secure online payment?

Using the domain HTTPS instead of HTTP, which means that the data traveling the network is encrypted. Moreover, having the SSL certificate, in which it will assure the consumer that the website is secure.

4-The advantages of using McAfee?

The first thing that needs to be done when starting an e-commerce business is to ensure that the website is secure. That is pretty much what McAfee software does. Securing the website start by applying many security layers to stop any possible breaches from accruing. For example, installing McAffe has many features, one of which is activating the firewall (which helps in protecting the website from SQL injections)(McAfee, 2003). 

By applying McAfee certificate and SSL certificate, the consumer will feel more comfortable completing the payment procedure without being worried about what would happen if their data were stolen.

5- Discuss the online payment option on your website?

As I mentioned earlier, my e-commerce supports a secure payment method which is PayPal. The main reason is to ensure a secure checkout for the consumers. Which is one of the essential features of any website as mentioned earlier, having a secure website would increase consumer loyalty (Talk Business, 2021)
